What we're building

Vireco delivers HVAC optimization software today for mission-critical facilities. We forecast demand using flight schedules, weather, occupancy, and energy tariffs to optimize operations and reduce costs within comfort constraints.

We're starting with airport HVAC systems and integrating with existing BMS infrastructure to provide auditable, verifiable recommendations. From this foundation, we're building toward comprehensive energy asset optimization including fault detection and predictive maintenance for central plants, chillers, and boilers, plus coordination of on-site storage, generation, and flexible loads where present.

Earned one of the only high school placements at BMO's Canadian Settlements Division. Drives Vireco's overall vision, partnerships, and GTM execution across energy, infrastructure, and AI verticals.

Electrical engineer (University of Waterloo) with experience in grid operations, system modeling, quantitative analysis, and AI-supported forecasting. Contributed to BC Hydro's asset planning group, applying Python analytics and CYME models to support long-range planning and the utility's 10-year capital plan. At Kinectrics, performed statistical and numerical analysis, produced technical visualizations, and supported product development through structured testing. Leads Vireco's core technology development and overall technical direction.

Todd Ernst

Strategic Advisor

Todd Ernst is an energy and environment executive with over a decade of leadership experience in airport-scale infrastructure and the clean energy transition. He spent more than 10 years at the Greater Toronto Airports Authority (Toronto Pearson), most recently as Director of Energy and Environment, leading energy, utilities, and environmental programs and helping prepare for Pearson's multi-billion-dollar expansion. Todd holds a Chemical Engineering degree from McGill University and an MBA from Saint Mary's University, and he has earned CPA-CMA and CIA designations; earlier in his career he delivered internal audit and sustainability engagements at Ernst & Young and helped scale industrial energy-efficiency programs at Willis Energy Services and CLEAResult. As an Advisor to Vireco Solutions, Todd supports operator-first product and deployment strategy and the delivery of measurable cost and carbon outcomes for airports.

Sheetal Jaitly is a Toronto-based technology entrepreneur and executive, best known as the founder and CEO of TribalScale, a global innovation and software product firm that helps enterprises with digital transformation and modernization, including AI- and cloud-enabled delivery. He is active across the tech ecosystem as a mentor and community leader, and through civic and health-focused roles including Feed Ontario and the SickKids Foundation Tech and Innovation Advisory Council. His leadership spans periods of rapid scale and restructuring, and he has been publicly associated with building TribalScale to meaningful enterprise scale. In addition, he serves as Strategic Advisor for the Middle East at Groq, Inc., focusing on enterprise AI strategy and operational execution in-region, bridging applied enterprise deployment with AI infrastructure realities. He has pursued executive development through Harvard Business School's Owner/President Management program and has been recognized for leadership and philanthropy, including being named one of MSN's "Top 10 Leading Men" in 2025. As an Advisor to Vireco Solutions, Sheetal supports product and go-to-market strategy, enterprise positioning, key partnership development, and investment-related guidance, including strategic introductions and perspective on scaling and capital formation.
